Accessibility

What we have actually measured, and what we have not.

Draft. This document has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and is not in force. It is published in draft because you are entitled to see what we intend to commit to before you are asked to agree to anything.

Target

WCAG 2.2 Level AA across the public site and the product.

What is measured, and how

Colour contrast on the marketing site is measured automatically in both light and dark palettes on every page in the audit, and a failure blocks the change rather than being noted for later. That audit currently covers 18 routes and reports zero failures.

Themes are resolved before first paint, so the page does not flash the wrong palette. Motion is disabled wherever the operating system asks for reduced motion, and every animated illustration resolves to a readable still rather than an empty frame.

Every illustration carries a text alternative that states the same thing the picture does.

What is not yet measured

A full assistive-technology audit of the product (as opposed to the marketing site) with screen readers on more than one platform. Keyboard-only walkthroughs of the longer product flows. We would rather say so than imply a conformance we have not tested.

Telling us about a barrier

If something here is unusable for you, the contact page reaches a person. Accessibility reports are treated as defects, not as feature requests.
